In the Pride Lands of Africa, King Simba and Queen Nala’s newborn daughter, Kiara, is presented to the assembled animals by Rafiki, a mandrill who serves as shaman and advisor. Simba’s father Mufasa proudly watches over the ceremony from the Heavens above. Kiara becomes annoyed with her father’s overprotective parenting. Simba assigns Timon and Pumbaa, a meerkat and warthog, to follow her. After entering the forbidden “Outlands”, Kiara meets a young cub, Kovu, and they are attacked by crocodiles. They escape using teamwork and Kiara even saves Kovu at one point. When Kovu retaliates to Kiara’s playing, Simba confronts the young cub just as he is confronted by Zira, Kovu’s mother and the Outsiders’ leader. Zira reminds Simba of how he exiled her and the other Outsiders, and she reveals that Kovu was to be the successor of Simba’s uncle and enemy, Scar.
When kids are just starting to familiarize themselves with the names and the use of its colors, be sure that parents are there to guide them. You can begin to teach them the basic color of Dora's hair and clothes. That goes to show that the images on the books should be simple to relate with and identify. In addition, stick to books that have easy coloring pages, which have well-spaced images for sample coloring and ensure you have enough crayon and coloring pencils to for all. You can have two kids on a book each taking a turn to color an image. It is a great way of teaching them the values of sharing. At special occasions like the Holidays we pretty much blanket the walls of our house in Coloring Pages. In December there are pictures of Santa, Rudolph the Reindeer, Sleighs, Christmas Trees, Elves, Carol Singers and much more all over the house. While at Halloween no matter where you go in our home there will probably be a Pumpkin, Bat, Little Devil or Ghoul staring at you! I am careful to pack them all away carefully afterwards and intend to still be using them decades from now, much to the probable embarrassment of my son. So if you are a parent and are looking for easy and low cost ways to spend quality time with your children I would say use Coloring Pages, you really can't go wrong with them. It's a yucky weekend. The children are whining. You can't send them to the yard to run off energy. So how to keep them amused? Children of all ages love to color, and you could keep a stack of coloring books on the shelf. Alternatively you might get on the computer and with just a quick search find and print off coloring pages to appease each kid! No more sheets? Print off even more! Even you the adult can maybe locate one or two to trip your interest. What superior method to interact with your kiddos than chilling around the craft table passing around the color crayons or markers? Have older youngsters? Select a complex landscape then give them a selection of water colors.
